Do the animals bite?

All the animals we bring out to experiences are very familiar with people and are used to, and enjoy being handled. It is extremely unlikely that they will bite. However it is important to recognise that all animals with beaks, teeth and claws are capable of biting and scratching if not handled carefully and responsibly. Our experienced team will show you how to hold and interact with each animal and ensure that all handling is fully supervised to ensure that all interactions are positive and safe for both you and the animal.

Can I request specific animals for my event?

Yes! If there are specific animals that you would like to attend then we will always try to accommodate this request. Very occasionally there may be some situations where this is not possible (e.g. when snakes are about to moult they should not be handled) in this case we will endeavour to supply a suitable substitute animal in its place. Similarly, if there is a particular animals which you DO NOT want to attend, we can of course accommodate this.

Do the animals carry germs?

All animals (including humans) carry various germs and bugs. In order to prioritise your health and safety during your session we advise that all participants sanitise their hands before and after handling any of our animals. Our staff will provide the correct cleaning products for this during our visit.

In order to keep our animals in the best health and condition, all of our stock is kept in a clean and well maintained environment and are consistently observed to ensure they are in good condition.
